One of the prevention measures included in the three-year pilot program - reflectors that alert drivers they are entering the roadway in the wrong direction - proved to be so effective that Caltrans has already installed the reflective markers on hundreds of miles of highways. very weird and odd.Caltrans and the UC Davis Advanced Highway Maintenance and Construction Technology (AHMCT) Research Center today released two reports highlighting ways to prevent rare but often deadly collisions involving wrong-way drivers. whats odd is that i took this test 4 years prior and scored a 95 which would have been rank 1. since no one else could be removed from the list, i was deemed ineligible. no where in the job bulletin does it describe needing to rank top 3 an offer was never extended, however the hiring team stated they really liked me and tries to see if my rank couple be advanced. the hiring team was very professional and nice, however the system is not transparent and deceptive. for SSA, i was ranked a 4, and they only take the top 3 rank levels. for AGPA i was ranked a 2, but did not have the experience. they do not tell you that you can pass the test but still be ranked out of consideration. i was not aware the scores were ranked and that your application was dependent on your rank. the cal careers makes you take an examination and places you on a list with a rank depending on your score. the position stated it would consider a staff services analyst, but again another problem. 2.5 weeks later i get a response stating i did not meet the qualifications for being an AGPA even though i have 9 yrs experience with a fortune 100 company in various roles. After finishing i was asked if i submitted my references already and i advised that i had done so. I was taken in to a room with two individuals and proceeded directly with questions. I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Caltrans (Sacramento, CA) in Oct 2022 InterviewĪpplied early october, and was scheduled for an interview at the end of the month. ![]()
